How we hire

Here, we summarize the typical journey to finding a job within zGEN — from applying for an open position to your first paycheck.

Step 01: Apply and introduce yourself

Begin your journey by logging into our zGEN platform. Apply for the role that aligns with your skills and passions. Then, complete our standard pre-screening process, showcasing your qualifications and fundamental expertise to us.

Creating your profile

  1. Share Your Credentials: Fill out the application form and attach your CV (in English) or provide your LinkedIn profile.
  2. Find Your Fit: Apply for the vacancy that best matches your location, skills, and seniority level.
  3. Set Your Expectations: Communicate your job preferences, including your desired start date and compensation expectations.
  4. Online Assessments: Complete online assessments, if required. These assessments may include algorithmic and logical tasks, small coding assignments, or quizzes, each taking between 15 to 30 minutes.
  5. Await Evaluation: Your application will be reviewed, and you'll receive feedback on the results soon!

Profile review

Within the next 1-2 business days (or up to a week in some instances), we meticulously assess all the details within your profile, including any test results, to ascertain if your qualifications align with the selected position. Should your profile not align, we'll promptly notify you via email. However, if your profile is indeed a match, we'll reach out to you via phone or email to extend an invitation for a General Interview.

Step 02. Go through some standard interviews

01 The general interview

During this phase, please be ready to engage in a video call with our Talent Acquisition specialist. This is an opportunity for you to discuss your background, previous project experiences, and showcase your proficiency in English. We'll also furnish you with comprehensive details regarding the program's advantages, requirements, and terms, while being available to address any inquiries you might have.

02 The technical interview

Upon successfully clearing the General Interview, you can anticipate an invitation within 3 days to 1 week for a session with our technology experts. This session will delve into your domain-specific expertise, problem-solving abilities, and your familiarity with frameworks and tools. Expect to receive interview feedback within 48 hours following the interview.

03 The offer interview

During the Offer Interview, you will have the opportunity to meet with a Hiring Manager to delve into the specific terms and conditions of your job offer. Once you've accepted the offer, our team promptly initiates the search for a project that aligns with both your career aspirations and personal objectives.

Step 03: Prepare to join the team

At this stage, we commence the onboarding process and initiate the project search. As we prioritize finding the optimal match for you, please note that in certain instances, the project search may extend up to 1 month.

Managing documentation

You have the convenience of filling out and electronically signing all essential documents directly on the zGEN platform. Our dedicated admin team will provide expert guidance throughout your onboarding journey, assist in your first-day preparations, and ensure your hardware is configured efficiently, ensuring you're fully prepared to begin work.

Project and / or customer interviews

Following that, you will have the opportunity to acquaint yourself with your new project team and/or a client, where you'll be prepared to discuss your technological proficiency in English. Our aim is to guarantee that the assignment aligns seamlessly with both your skill set and the client's needs. Be prepared to participate in multiple Project and/or Customer Interviews to secure the role that suits you best.
